I've had about 4 days of class days now, and I feel like I've had hardly any class. I didn't have class on wednesday or today, but I have 3 hours of psyc tomorrow. I'm still figuring out how to do standard living things here, like laundry, the sportscenter, the bus system, and how to navigate to the lecture theatres. I've decided to drop my calc class because it turns out it was the second class of a two class sequence instead of one calc class in a semester. I've been looking for a class to take, since I have 2 credits to fill to remain a full time student (16 credits), and I've been trying to figure out what papers I need what people to sign. I found a higher level bio class that will be during the last 7 weeks of my time here. It's a class in scotland, so I would be living up there rather than in my dorm here. I would really like to take the class, and I'm thinking it would be cheaper living too. It would cost 300 pounds for an accomodation, food, and travel; all of which I wouldn't have to pay here at a higher price. The only downside is that if I don't do this class I would be able to come back to the US and my job at Flathead Lutheran Bible Camp earlier.
Yesterday I went to mountaineering club and climbed with the club at our sportscenter. I guess the provost of the school was really into mountaineering and wrote some books. But that's why we have such a nice wall too : ) I'm really looking foward to some of the trips we'll be going on this year. The people climbing were mostly all guys, which reminded me a lot of Bozeman. They all seemed really nice and welcoming too.
Tomorrow Anna, my friend from PLU and FLBC is coming from northern ireland to visit me. We're hopefully going to the lake district on saturday, I'm really excited, I've been waiting and waiting to go there. We'll celebrate my birthday together too : )
