After we walked around the castle, we ended up at a roman theatre and gardens behind the castle. The gardens were filled with old archways and pillars of all types. We started getting quite cold, so we decided to see the church of England Cathedral. It was beautiful. Probably the most extravagant church I've ever seen. There were a lot of offerings/remembrances for important women of the time, which surprised me but made me proud all the same.
My group had lunch at a local brewery, and I did a little reading and found out the building we were eating in was built in the 1200s. That seemed absolutely crazy to me. Our country is soooo young.
I brought my camera, however I left my SD card in my room, so I'm sorry I really failed this time. I'll try to put up pictures that my friends took if I can. My classes start tomorrow, and I'm feeling a little overwhelmed with everything I need to take care of still, like get pots and pans to cook. Peanut butter sandwiches, toast, and oranges are getting a little old. Next weekend I'm going to Scotland to meet my friend Anna from FLBC. I'm psyched because I found out I'm related to a line of Dukes in Scotland through my grandma, Ilene Campbell : )

You are amazing! Thank you for sharing your journey!
